Beaches: The three beaches that are must-see: Praia do Sancho, with crystal clear waters and coral reefs; Baía dos Porcos, the ideal place for diving thanks to its natural pools of transparent waters; and Praia do Leão, with very blue and green waters and surrounded by rock formations that make the place a bird sanctuary.
Diving: One of the best diving spots in the world. Those who have never dived can perform their baptism underwater, accompanied by an instructor, up to 12 meters deep. Experienced divers will have guaranteed adventure while diving in deeper locations.
Hiking: There are many hiking trails, ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 km. The ones located in the Fernando de Noronha National Marine Park (Parnamar/FN) require authorization from IBAMA for visitation. The rest are open to all visitors. Natural viewpoints and stunning landscapes are everywhere, as well as interesting historical sites: the place where the first shipwreck occurred in Brazil, in 1503; the female prison of Vila dos Remédios (18th century); a bridge from the 16th century on the dry bed of the Mulungu Creek.
Boat ride: Great alternative for those who don’t feel like hiking, the boat trip is also a must because of the possibility of seeing dolphins, diving opportunities and the view of the islets that form the archipelago. There are many options of boat ride available.
