The Botanical Garden has a specialized library with approximately 32,000 volumes and the largest herbarium in Brazil, with approximately 650,000 samples numbered and available to the public on the site.
Santa Teresa: one of the most traditional districts of Rio de Janeiro, with its colorful staircases in the colors of the Rio summer, is the ideal place for those who want to know the soul of Rio de Janeiro. It has numerous charming restaurants where you can taste the traditional feijoada, one of the typical dishes of southeastern Brazil.
