Ecotourism in the Northeast: Salvador, Chapada Diamantina and Lençóis Maranhenses.
After initial contact with the people and culture of Salvador, its fortifications, museums, colourful houses and centennial churches, a route in the Chapada Diamantina National Park, with waterfalls, caves, hiking, floating in the “Poço Azul” (Blue Pit).
The trip ends with the image of the huge White sheets formed by White sand and interspersed blue and green colours from the freshwater ponds of the Lençóis Maranhenses. Boat ride along the river towards the sea offers a stunning view of mangroves, buritis (animal), White dunes and palm trees where you pick the Açaí fruit.
