In this twelve days tour, discover the “Wonderful City” of Rio de Janeiro, the city of Paraty, which retains its 16th century colonial characteristics and get to know some of the most important cities of the State of Minas Gerais, like Ouro Preto and Tiradentes. The trip ends in Salvador, capital of Bahia, the first capital of Brazil, with its baroque churches, cheerful sounds of african origin, rich culture and gastronomy.

Day of sightseeing in Rio de Janeiro:
• Sugar Loaf: the famous Sugar Loaf cable car is the most used to reach the top of that mountain of 1296 m above sea level. The Hill offers a 360-degree view, where you can enjoy the beautiful rainforest, beaches and a part of the great metropolis.
• Christ the Redeemer: one of the postcards of the Wonderful City. The Christ Redeemer, with its 98 ft high, is located on the Hill of Corcovado Mountain in the Tijuca Rainforest. Is there, with his arms wide, that he welcomes all those who arrive in this town.
• Favela: the favelas (slums), with its colorful little houses embedded in the hills, are a part of the beautiful surroundings. A visit to one of these “favelas” allows the visitor the contact with humble, happy and privileged people – for the view they have of the wonderful city. Day of sightseeing in the village of Paraty:
Paraty Bay by boat: discovery of the islands and coves in the area. During the tour you can see dozens of small fishing villages cut off from the rest of the world.
Historical Center: through the small alleys of the old Paraty, visit the Mother Church, Street of Trade, architecture of colonial houses and fish market.

Visits in Congonhas do Campo and São João del Rei and transfer to Tiradentes

• Visits in the morning: the former São João del Rei, Tiradentes is one of the most beautiful colonial towns of Minas Gerais, preserved in time thanks to its difficult access and also to oblivion that the city suffered for about 150 years. The Serra de São José and the tropical vegetation of the Atlantic Forest that surround the city give a more special charm to the village.

That’s where you will find the Church of São Francisco, considered the country’s richest Baroque work.
• Visit of the “Lower Town”: coastal area of the city of Salvador, linked to “Uper Town” by the Lacerda Elevator. Here one can visit the Church of Senhor do Bonfim – one of the symbols of religious syncretism in the city – and the Mercado Modelo, a traditional craft center.
