Day of sightseeing in Rio de Janeiro:
• Sugar Loaf: the famous Sugar Loaf cable car is the most used to reach the top of that mountain of 1296 m above sea level. The Hill offers a 360-degree view, where you can enjoy the beautiful rainforest, beaches and a part of the great metropolis.
• Christ the Redeemer: one of the postcards of the Wonderful City. The Christ Redeemer, with its 98 ft high, is located on the Hill of Corcovado Mountain in the Tijuca Rainforest. Is there, with his arms wide, that he welcomes all those who arrive in this town.
• Favela: the favelas (slums), with its colorful little houses embedded in the hills, are a part of the beautiful surroundings. A visit to one of these “favelas” allows the visitor the contact with humble, happy and privileged people – for the view they have of the wonderful city. In addition, it is possible to meet the work developed by various ONGs in those communities.

Day of sightseeing in the city of Salvador:
• Visit of the “Upper Town”: walking through the city center through the streets and alleys of the famous Pelourinho historic district, listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site and considered as the largest collection of colonial architecture from the 17th and 18th centuries still existing. That’s where you will find the Church of São Francisco, considered the country’s richest Baroque work.
• Visit of the “Lower Town”: coastal area of the city of Salvador, linked to “Uper Town” by the Lacerda Elevator. Here one can visit the Church of Senhor do Bonfim – one of the symbols of religious syncretism in the city – and the Mercado Modelo, a traditional craft center.

• If your journey takes place between the months of July and October and depending on weather conditions, it is recommended to visit the Humpback Whale Institute.
