Located in the south coast of Bahia, 70km from Porto Seguro. Average annual temperatures of approximately 25°C/77°F.

 

All year round, except July and August, when it's the very rainy season.

 

Largo d'Ajuda: the city’s historic center, an IPHAN-listed heritage site, where it's possible to stroll through simple and colorful houses, some transformed into handcraft shops, bakeries and cafes. When visiting the Nossa Senhora da Ajuda headquarters, build in 1553, go to the observatory of the church and enjoy the waters meeting point between the Buranhém River and the sea.

Praia do Parracho: its beauty is breathtaking : white sand, green coconut palms, turquoise waters. Also all the infrastructure of tents, restaurants and lodges make Praia do Parracho ideal for those who want to relax in calm waters or practice nautical sports such as paddle, snorkel and scuba diving.

Praia de Taípe: 13km away from Arraial da Ajuda (2h walk or half an hour car drive), Taípe is a very popular city for  nature lovers. The spectacle that nature reserves for visitors fill up the effort of hiking thanks to its beautiful colorful cliffs of approximately 45 meters in height.

Praia do Mucugê: located in the center of Arraial d'Ajuda, this beach hosts one of the largest water parks in Latin America, the Arraial Eco Park, great for both adults and children. Tents at Mucugê beach offer snacks and drinks, day and night. The sea is calm, with turquoise waters, and during low tide, it is possible to take a wonderful relaxing bath in its natural pools.

Praia da Pitinga: 3.5 km away from Arraial d'Ajuda, it is a place of greenish sea, warm and turquoise waters and strong waves that break in the reefs. Access is easy, only a half hour walk. Multicolored cliffs make up the beautiful scenery.
