Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival in Rio de Janeiro

Meet and greet at the airport and private transfer to your hotel in Copacabana. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 — Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer
Rio de Janeiro
Cable car ride up Sugarloaf Mountain for a panoramic view over Guanabara Bay, then on to Corcovado for Christ the Redeemer and one of the finest views of the city.
Included: accommodation with breakfast, private guided tours, entrance fees for Corcovado and Sugarloaf Mountain.
Day 3 — Free day in Rio de Janeiro

Beaches, neighborhoods, restaurants: enjoy Rio at your own pace, or add an excursion if you like.

Day 4 — Flight to Manaus
Rio de Janeiro, Manaus
Transfer to the airport and flight to Manaus. Meet and greet and private transfer to the hotel.
Included: accommodation with breakfast, Rio de Janeiro – Manaus flight, transfers.
Day 5 — The Meeting of the Waters and the lodge
Manaus, Amazon
Departure for the lodge by way of the Meeting of the Waters, where the Rio Negro and the Solimões flow side by side without mixing for more than 10 km (6 miles). In the afternoon, a first boat outing around the lodge.
Included: full board at the lodge, shared transfer, lodge activities.
Day 6 — Forest and piranhas
Amazon
An easy forest hike with a specialist guide, then piranha fishing with a bamboo rod. At nightfall, an outing in search of caimans.

Day 7 — Sunrise and riverside life
Amazon
Set off before dawn to watch the sunrise over the river, then visit a riverside community to learn about its way of life. Another boat outing in the afternoon.

Day 8 — From the Amazon to the Pantanal
Amazon, Manaus, Campo Grande
Return to Manaus, then flight to Campo Grande, the gateway to the southern Pantanal. Meet and greet and transfer to the hotel.

Day 9 — On to the Southern Pantanal
Campo Grande, Southern Pantanal
Drive to the pousada (about 3 hours), on the banks of the Aquidauana River. In the afternoon, piranha fishing in a bay of the river.
Included: full board, private transfer, activities with English-speaking guide.
Day 10 — The Aquidauana River by boat
Southern Pantanal
In the morning, a boat trip on the Aquidauana River and its gallery forest, a refuge for birds, mammals and reptiles. In the afternoon, another pousada activity: hiking, horseback riding or wildlife watching.

Day 11 — Photo safari in the Pantanal
Southern Pantanal
Safari in an open 4×4 through the cerrado, grasslands and floodplains, to observe the wildlife up close. Pousada activity in the afternoon.

Day 12 — Back to Rio de Janeiro
Southern Pantanal, Campo Grande, Rio de Janeiro
Drive to Campo Grande airport, then flight to Rio de Janeiro. Meet and greet and transfer to the hotel.

Day 13 — Departure from Rio de Janeiro

Private transfer to the airport for your return flight. End of our services.

The order of visits may be adjusted depending on flight schedules, weather and local conditions.
At the lodge and the pousada, activities are done in groups and depend on the season and water levels. Wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed.
