Rio de Janeiro, the Pantanal (looking for the Jaguar) and Salvador.

For starters, after visiting the wonderful city of Rio de Janeiro, departure to the North Pantanal, the largest wetland on the planet. The Pantanal is one of the most spectacular regions of Brazil because it is a region as rich as the Amazon when it comes to fauna and flora. The Pantanal has about 80 species of mammals, including the rare Jaguar.

Finally, after 5 days in the Pantanal, you’ll hit the road to Salvador. Contact with local and culture of Bahia, its fortifications, museums, colorful houses and centuries old churches. For those who love the beach and relaxation, we recommend at the end of the stay a few nights in Praia do Forte or Imbassaí, close to Salvador.

Day 1: Arrival - Rio de Janeiro

Arrival at the airport of Rio de Janeiro. Welcome by a English-speaking guide and private transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day is free.

Day 2: Rio de Janeiro Tours

Day of tours in Rio de Janeiro:

Sugar Loaf: The famous Sugar Loaf cable car is the most used way to reach the top of this mountain at 1296 meters above sea level, from where a view 360 degrees allows to appreciate the beautiful forests of the city, beaches and part of the great metropolis of Rio de Janeiro.
Christ the Redeemer: As a guardian angel of the city, Christ the Redeemer is a 38-meter high statue located at the top of Corcovado, a mountain 710 meters above sea level. Inaugurated in 1931, Christ Redeemer is the most famous image of Rio de Janeiro.
Botanical Garden: one of the richest and most important botanical gardens in the world, home to about 6500 species of Brazilian and foreign flora.

Day 4: End of the stay in Rio and travel to Cuiabá

After breakfast, private transfer to Rio de Janeiro airport.

Flight to Cuiabá.

Arrival at Cuiabá airport. Transfer to Pousada Araras, in the heart of the Pantanal.

On the way through the "Transpantaneira", a few stops for the observation of wildlife and landscape off the comum.

At the Pousada, take a stroll around the area to learn about the preservation projects and visit the "Mirante da Garça" (observatory) to admire the beautiful sunset of the region.

After dinner "pantaneiro" (typical), hike to observe life and nightlife, illuminated by the light of the stars.

Day 5: Pantanal, walk and fishing

Day tour in the Pantanal:

Rio Clarinho: boat trip on the river "Clarinho" to observe the ciliary forest, mangrove and giant otters.
• Peaches with piranhas: fun and stimulating activity; they are specialists in the theft of the fisherman's hook.

Lunch: barbecue by the river. *

After the relaxing rest in the armed nets at the edge of the river, return to the Pousada.

Hike to the "Bugio" Tower 25m high: magnificent view of the Pantanal.

After dinner: Safari for watching nocturnal animals.

* Depending on the weather conditions, lunch can be served at the Pousada.

Day 6: Pantanal, horseback ride, discovery of the region

Day tour in the Pantanal:

Riding on trails that cross various areas, possibly through flooded areas. A morning of adventures and discoveries.
• Afternoon: walk to the "Tuiuiu" tower, 13.5 m high, where you can admire the place where a couple Tuiuiús (birds typical of the region) made their nest.

Dinner at the Pousada and well-deserved rest.

Day 7: Pantanal, Jaguar

After breakfast, departure by air-conditioned vehicle to the rivers "Cuiabá and Piquiri" for a river safari.

Navigating through rivers and canals in search of the third largest feline on the planet, the jaguar.

Lunch: a delicious and enhanced snack prepared by the Pousada.

Return around 5 p.m.

Dinner at the Pousada.

Day 8: From Pantanal to Salvador

Walk at dawn to enjoy the beautiful sunrise in this incredible ecosystem.

Breakfast at the Pousada.

Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 9: Tours in Salvador

Day of tours in Salvador.

Visit of the "Upper City": the "old" Salvador, in the center of the city, former place of punishment of slaves and today the heart of the Carnival of Bahia. The visit is on foot between the picturesque streets with the discovery of the church of São Francisco and the Pelourinho (central square of the city - cultural heritage by UNESCO) which will allow to know the cultural aspects of Bahia, its traditions and its mystical side.
• Visit of the "Lower Town": the modern part of the city with its natural and architectural contrasts. Passage through Bonfim Church, São Joaquim Market and Lacerda Elevator.

Siempre nos atendió Rachel y estuvo pendiente en todo momento de todo enviándonos las tarjetas de embarque de todos los destinos y cuidando hasta el más mínimo detalle. De hecho una amiga se incorporó al grupo mes y medio antes del viaje y en un día Rachel hizo todas las gestiones para que pudiera también acompañarnos. Los guías locales proporcionan una gran información y son encantadores y te asesoran en todo momento no importándoles si es necesario estirar su horario laboral a veces por acompañarte . Destacar la puntualidad tanto de guías como conductores. Además los alojamientos tienen mucho encanto y son habitaciones espaciosas a pesar de que estuvimos en habitación triple. Me enamoró la posada los Encantes del Nordeste en Barreirinhas. Sin duda recomendaría Brazil VIP a todo el mundo que quiera conocer Brasil que es un país con una naturaleza espectacular y unas gentes maravillosas y si vuelvo porque es un país que merece la pena repetir lo haría con BRAZIL VIP

Desde el primer momento Paulo demostró su conocimiento, su capacidad de organización y su buen nivel de español para hacernos fácil algo a priori tan complicado como optimizar nuestra visita a un país tan grande como Brasil. En todo momento Paulo nos ofreció sugerencias de lugares que visitar, en qué orden hacerlo considerando la época del año, sugerir diferentes hoteles/alojamientos entre los que elegir y organizar guías que hablaban español para poder optimizar nuestras visitas. Si la organización fue buena, le ejecución no lo fue menos. En todo momento los guías nos estaban esperando en los aeropuertos de desinto, nos recogían con puntualidad exquisita en los alojamientos y nos llevaron a los puntos más relevantes de las ciudades explicando la historia, tradiciones, cultura, etc. Con el único "problema" que pudimos tener (un vuelo retrasado cinco horas) Paulo estuvo todo el tiempo atento, avisándonos de los cambios, informándonos de las actualizaciones y ofreciendo posibles alternativas. Tener un contacto conocedor del idioma y del entorno y en la misma zona horaria nos hizo sentir mucho más tranquilos durante todo el viaje (y más teniendo en cuenta que en Brasil es difícil encontrar personal que hable inglés o español incluso en los aeropuertos importantes como Río o Sao Paulo). En resumen, un diez en organización y ejecución, en proximidad y en atención al cliente. Volveríamos a elegir Brazil Vip sin duda alguna si nos planteamos otro viaje a Brasil.

It was really a last minute decision, as my wife has quit her job, so I was tasked to organize everything in one week, started planning on the 15th of April for a departure on the 22nd of April. Not at all easy as we live in Greece and we had never been in Latin America. I did quite a lot of homework, however after couple of days I have contacted 3 travel agencies, debriefed them and asked them for suggestions. We have selected “Brazil VIP” and what impressed me the most with them were many things: 1.	Their speed of reaction: they have replied to us after one day even if it was Saturday night 2.	Their immediate understanding of our needs: they have proposed 2 or 3 options based on my initial debrief and at the same time including insider tips that have made the vacation unforgettable 3.	They have strictly remained on Budget, proposing ideas to enhance the customer satisfaction 4.	They were very agile to change the plan when I was expressing some doubts for the suitability of their proposal Once we arrived in Brazil, they made themselves immediately available to changing requests, either at 6:00 in the morning or at 22:00 in the night. Overall, we had a great time in Brazil and we were extremely satisfied from the service we have received from “Brazil VIP”. Hotels were great, the guides were punctual, very knowledge and able to give us the local flair that cannot be found in the internet. They advertise Taylor made tours and this is exactly what they do, with an excellent understanding of the customer’s needs and specificities. We were so happy that we plan to return soon to Brazil and obviously to engage their services, in order to have another unforgettable experience.

We were supposed to go a year ago, but a broken foot caused it to be delayed. Paulo was so cooperative and helpful when it came to planning the original trip and dealing with the postponement. We went to Rio de Janiero, Bonito, Pantanal, The Amazon and Paraty. Brazil is a large country, so there were many transfers and flights, but everything went very smoothly. Every hotel we stayed at and every guide we had was top notch. Paulo was available throughout the trip for questions and minor changes we wanted to make. Somos una familia de cuatro miembros que ha pasado la Navidad en Manaos y Río de Janeiro. Nuestra experiencia con Brazil Vip no puede ser más satisfactoria.
